Arlington resident Kamron Tartt is facing a host of charges for his alleged role in a stabbing that left three people hospitalized last month.

Late in the afternoon on Friday, Dec. 15, officers from the Arlington Police Department were called to the 5100 block of Columbia Pike in the Arlington Mill neighborhood, where there was a man suffering from a laceration.

While first responders were rendering aid to the first man, they found another in the 1000 block of South Frederick Street and a boy in the 5000 block of 8th Road South, who were also suffering from stab wounds, according to police.

Investigators determined that there was a fight involving five people - all known to each other - inside the stairwell of a building, during which the three victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were hospitalized in stable condition.

A knife was recovered at the scene.

Following the investigation, Tartt was arrested on Thursday and charged with:

  • Malicious wounding by mob;
  • Conspiracy to commit a felony;
  • Two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

He is being held without bond at the Arlington County Detention Facility.
